Meeting notes to tasks
From meeting notes to tasks.
Action points die in the notes document; turn them into tasks with an owner and a date before the next meeting.
Step by step
Three ways in, one list out.
Whichever way the notes arrive, every action point ends as a task with an owner and a date.
Step 1: Paste the notes
Open Text to tasks from quick add or ⌘K, paste the notes and choose Find tasks with AI. It finds the action points, with dates, project and people where the text says so.

Each task shows as quick add reads it. Untick what is not yours, then add the rest; Undo takes it all back. One per line does the same without AI.

- Save a filter for tasks assigned to each person, and use it as the next meeting's agenda.
- Turn on reminders for the due ones, so nothing waits until the next meeting.

Questions and answers
Does Text to tasks add anything without asking?
No. It shows every task it found first, as quick add reads it. You choose what to add, and Undo takes it all back.
Can I do this without AI?
Yes. Paste the action points, one per line, into quick add and choose One per line: each line becomes a task, with dates and people read by quick add.
Which email can I forward?
Any. Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail or your phone: anything that can forward an email to your private address.
Does it understand Swedish notes?
Yes. Quick add and Text to tasks read English and Swedish.
