Plan your day and focus
Plan the day, then focus.
A short morning plan, a timer on the task in front of you, and breaks that help you recover.
A plan in the morning
Today suggests what could be today. One click puts each task on today, tomorrow or Someday.
Four rhythms
Pomodoro 25/5, Deep work 50/10, Ultradian 90/20, or Flowtime, which counts up.
Breaks that restore
Each break suggests something small: stretch, rest your eyes, drink water or breathe.
Start the day with a plan.
In the morning, Today offers to plan. It suggests overdue tasks, the Inbox, what is coming in the next days and important tasks without a date, and shows how much time today holds. From 16:00, Wrap up shows what got done and moves the rest.
- Both are optional: Not today puts them away.
- Both are in ⌘K as Plan today and Wrap up today.
- Nothing moves on its own.
Four rhythms, one timer.
Pick a default rhythm, or another from the ⋯ menu or ⌘K. Pomodoro takes a 15-minute break after every four sessions. Flowtime counts up and suggests a break of a fifth of the time you worked, between 5 and 30 minutes.
- The timer is the same on every device you are signed in on.
- F starts focus on the task you are on; Shift+F pauses or resumes.
Breaks that help you recover.
During a break, thisflow suggests one small thing: stand up and stretch, rest your eyes on something far away, drink some water, follow a circle for box breathing, or step outside. Breaks can start by themselves when a session ends.
