Integration
Your tasks in, your tasks out.
Import any CSV or another tool's export, and take everything with you as CSV, Markdown or JSON whenever you like.
Settings → Data
What you can do with it.
Any CSV
A title column is enough. Notes, due date, priority, tags, project, section, status and repeat are read when they are there, with English or Swedish headers.
Other tools too
Exports from Asana, ClickUp and Linear, a Trello board as JSON and a TickTick backup are read as they come.
Export any time
All your tasks as CSV or Markdown checklists, or everything as JSON. A CSV export imports back in: completed tasks come back open, and tasks in a Done section are left out.
Set up
Ready in three steps.
- 01
Save it as CSV
From a spreadsheet or another tool, save or export the list as a CSV file.
- 02
Import it
Open Settings → Data → Import and choose the file. Rows without a project go to your Inbox.
- 03
Check and confirm
Rows marked done are left out and counted, and unreadable dates are named. Import, or undo if it is not right.
Columns thisflow understands.
Dates in common formats or as quick-add phrases, priority as 1–4, p1–p4 or high, medium and low, and repeats such as “every weekday”.
Markdown export, in your language.
Checklists with dates, repeats, priorities, @tags and people, written in the language you use thisflow in. Paste them into notes, a document or a pull request.
- Settings → Data → Export your data
- Every project as CSV, Markdown or JSON
- Project ⋯ → Export as Markdown
- One project, for anyone who can see it
- Workspace settings → Security & data → Export the workspace
- Projects, tasks, comments and members as one JSON file (team workspaces, owners and admins)
Permissions and security
What flows, and what stays.
What flows
Imports are read in your browser and the file is not uploaded. Exports are made in your browser from what you can see.
Nothing held back
An export has every task you can see, with notes, dates, tags, repeats and assignees, and the JSON file has comments too.
How to undo
Undo an import right after it, or delete what it made later.
