Sharing and roles
Share a project in one dialog.
Invite by email or link, pick one of four roles, and bring in clients as guests at no cost.
One button
Link or email, and the role, in the same dialog. No separate admin page to find.
Four fixed roles
Owner, editor, viewer and guest. Everyone knows what each one can do.
Guests take no seat
Bring in a client or a freelancer for one project without paying for a member.
Four roles, no setup.
Pick a role when you invite, change it later in the same dialog. A team workspace also has admins, who run its settings, members and billing.
Links that look right, and end.
A project link pasted into Slack, Teams, iMessage or WhatsApp shows who shared which project. The page behind it shows the role you get and how long the link works. Links end after 1, 7 or 30 days, or never.
- Links are stored hashed and encrypted.
- An invite that bounced is marked, with Copy invite link instead.
A workspace for the whole team.
In Settings → Workspaces, a team workspace's Workspace settings hold the name and logo, who can invite and create projects, and colleagues joining through your company email domain. Invite many people at once; removing someone asks who takes over their open tasks.

Questions and answers
Do guests cost anything?
No. Guests take no seat. Each plan includes a number of guests; see the pricing page.
What can a guest do?
Edit the project they were invited to, and nothing else in the workspace. They use the workspace's tags but cannot add new ones.
Can I stop a share link?
Yes. Links can end after 1, 7 or 30 days, and making a new link stops the old one.
What is the difference between an editor and a viewer?
An editor edits tasks and invites people. A viewer sees the project and can comment.
