Integration

Bring your Todoist projects along.

Export a project from Todoist as CSV and drop it into thisflow. Sections, subtasks, comments and repeats come along.

Settings → Data → Import

What you can do with it.

  • Structure kept

Sections stay sections and subtasks stay under their task. Notes on a task come along as its comments.

  • Dates and repeats

Todoist's dates, in English or Swedish, are read by thisflow's quick-add parser, so “every weekday” stays a repeat.

  • Priorities and labels

Priority 4 in Todoist, its most urgent, becomes P1 in thisflow, and @labels become tags.

Set up

Ready in three steps.

  1. 01

    Export from Todoist

In Todoist, open a project and choose ⋯ → Export as a template → CSV. You get one file per project.

  2. 02

    Choose the file

In thisflow, open Settings → Data → Import and choose or drop the file. You see what it contains first.

  3. 03

    Check and import

Look over the counts and any rows that need a look, then import. Undo is right there if it is not what you wanted.

See it before it lands.

thisflow shows the new projects, sections, tasks, comments and repeats in the file before anything changes, and names the rows it could not read.

Permissions and security

What flows, and what stays.

  • What flows

Nothing to or from Todoist: there is no connection to your Todoist account. You choose a file, and it is read in your browser.

  • What is stored

The tasks you import, like any task you add. The file itself is not uploaded.

  • How to undo

Choose Undo right after the import, or delete the new project later.
