Content calendar
Every post, from idea to live.
Content plans live in one spreadsheet and drafts in another; keep each piece as one task you can follow to publish.
Step by step
A calendar that moves.
One project, its sections as stages, and the same tasks in the calendar.
Step 1: Set up the stages
Create a Content project with the sections Ideas, Drafts and Review before Done. On the board they are the columns, in that order.

Type the piece with its date and channel tag in quick add. The due date is the day it goes out.

Newsletters and monthly roundups repeat by themselves. Each one sent is logged in the Logbook while the task moves on.

Saved filters
One channel across projects, such as everything tagged @blog.
Tips
Fewer gaps, fewer surprises.
- Use one tag per channel (@blog, @newsletter, @social) and save a filter for each.
- Put drafts and images on the task as attachments, and feedback in its comments.
- Invite a freelance writer as a guest to the content project, at no cost.
- Subscribe to your tasks in Google or Outlook Calendar to see publish dates next to your meetings.

Questions and answers
Are the board and the calendar separate plans?
No. They are views of the same project: a card moved on the board or a date changed in the calendar shows in both.
Can I track several channels?
Yes. Give each piece a channel tag, and save a filter per tag to see one channel across projects.
Can I attach drafts and images?
Yes. Files attach to the task, and images show as thumbnails.
Does moving a card to Done complete it?
Yes. Dropping a card in the project's Done column completes the task, the same as ticking it in the list, with the same Undo.
