Goals and routines
Small routines, real progress.
Good intentions fade by the second week; turn each goal into a routine that comes back by itself.
Step by step
From a goal to a habit.
Break the goal down, make the routine repeat, and let the Logbook keep the record.
Step 1: Break the goal into steps
Write the goal as a task and press Suggest steps, or add subtasks yourself. Goals for later go to Someday.

Tips
Routines that stick.
- Tag routines by area (@health, @home) and save a filter to see one area at a time.
- Give a routine a time and a reminder, so it arrives at the moment you can do it.
- Start small: one routine a week is easier to keep than five at once.
- Use the last weekday of the month for monthly check-ins on your goals.

Questions and answers
Can a routine repeat from when I complete it?
Yes. Type “every 6 weeks after done”, or turn on Count from when it is done in the repeat editor.
What is the difference between skipping and completing?
Completing logs the occurrence as done in the Logbook. Skip this time moves the task to its next date without logging it.
Does thisflow show streaks or charts?
No. The Logbook lists every completed occurrence by day; there are no streak counters or charts.
Can a routine have a reminder?
Yes. A routine with a time reminds you at the time or up to a day before, as a push notification.
