Client projects
Clients in the project, not your inbox.
Client work scatters across email threads and status calls; bring the client into one shared project instead.
Step by step
One client, one project.
Set it up once, then every request, answer and file stays on its task.
Step 1: Start the project
Create a project for the client, or copy the last one with its sections and open tasks, its dates moved to start today.

Press Share and pick Guest. The client edits this project and nothing else in your workspace, and guests take no seat.

Comments with mentions and attached files sit on the task they are about, so the answer is there next time anyone opens it.

Switch the project to Board. The sections are the columns, so the client sees where every task stands without a status call.

Tips
Keep clients close, not loud.
- One project per client keeps each client to their own work.
- Share links can end after 1, 7 or 30 days; making a new link stops the old one.
- Assign a task to the client with +name in quick add when it waits on them.
- When the job is done, archive the project, or export it as Markdown checklists.

Questions and answers
Does a client guest cost anything?
No. Guests take no seat. Each plan includes a number of guests; see the pricing page.
What can a guest see?
Only the project they were invited to. They can edit its tasks, and they use the workspace's tags without adding new ones.
Can the client just watch?
Yes. Invite them as a viewer instead: a viewer sees the project and can comment.
Can I reuse the setup for the next client?
Yes. New project can copy any project with its sections and open tasks, with its dates moved to start today.
