Recurring tasks
Routines that run themselves.
Type how often in plain words, skip one time when life gets in the way, and keep a record of each one.

Skip this time

A record of each
Every completed occurrence is logged in the Logbook while the task moves on.
Every pattern you need.
Every day, weekday, week or month, on given days, on the last weekday of the month, or counted from when you complete it. The due date becomes the first occurrence.

Away this week? Skip this time, from the task's ⋯ menu or ⌘K, moves a repeating task to its next date without marking it as done.
Each time, on the record.
Completing a repeating task logs that occurrence as a done task in the Logbook, and the task moves on to its next date. Undo takes both back. On the board, moving it into Done does the same.

Questions and answers
Can a task repeat from when I complete it?
Yes. Type “every 6 weeks after done” or “every! 3 days”, or turn on Count from when it is done in the repeat editor.
What is the difference between skipping and completing?
Completing logs the occurrence as done in the Logbook. Skip this time moves the task to its next date without logging it as done.
Can it repeat on the last weekday of the month?
Yes. Type “every last weekday” in quick add, or pick the Last weekday mode in the repeat editor.
Do repeating tasks show in my calendar app?
Yes. The calendar subscription shows their coming dates too.
