What you can do with it.
Tasks in Calendar
Tasks with a due date appear as all-day events, or at their time with their planned length. Repeating tasks show their coming dates.
iCloud events in thisflow
Share an iCloud calendar as a public calendar and paste its link: its events show read-only in thisflow's week and day plan.
Updates by itself
Calendar checks the link for changes on its own, so new, moved and finished tasks follow.
Set up
Ready in three steps.
- 01
Get your calendar link
In thisflow, open Settings → Calendar and choose Get calendar link.
- 02
Subscribe in Calendar
Choose Add to Apple Calendar on your Mac or iPhone. Calendar opens and asks you to subscribe.
- 03
Show iCloud in thisflow
Optional: in Calendar, make the calendar a Public Calendar, copy its link and paste it under Settings → Calendar → Other calendars.
Subscribe once, done.
The Calendar section in Settings gives you a private link and a button for each calendar app. A public iCloud link can be read by anyone who has it, so share it only here.
Permissions and security
What flows, and what stays.
What flows
Out: your open tasks with a due date that are assigned to you, or that you created with nobody assigned, from 60 days back to a year ahead, each with its title, note, project and a link back. In: the events of calendars you add, read-only.
What is stored
thisflow never signs in to your Apple Account. Your calendar link is stored hashed and encrypted. A calendar address you add is stored encrypted and never sent back to the browser, and its events are not saved in the database.
How to revoke
Choose New link or Turn off in Settings → Calendar and the old link stops working at once. Remove another calendar in Settings, or stop sharing the calendar publicly in Calendar.
